... that is to say, read the whole article here (it's not long), and you will find that at the earliest point the progenitors of this important thought were preachers. Yes, Jonathan Swift was a preacher, though he is not best known for it. All of which is to say that preachers would do well to recognize that Brandolini's Law is not the sole province of software developers or scientists and engineers, though it would seem to be especially applicable in the political sphere. No, it is a major task of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to refute BS. Thankfully, we have the Holy Spirit to help us ascend the requisite order of magnitude in order to do so.
