Good thing Jesus is the Savior of the World, because I don't think the human race is quite up to the job

I'm all for good Christian stewardship of the environment, but the fact is, the consensus is shifting on global warming, so before preachers trot out a lot of alarmist clichés in an ill-advised Earth Day sermon later this month, they better do some research. See especially the chart that shows global temps about to bust out of predicted ranges ... on the low side. [NOTE: this is from The Economist, which has been riding the AGW bus for some time.]

And as for the admittedly flippant title of this post, let me simply remark that there is a big difference between stewardship and salvation.
